Principal’s Welcome Letter

Dear Bromwell Community and Prospective Bromwell Families,

I am delighted to be principal at one of Denver’s most distinguished elementary schools. I have been Bromwell’s principal since 2009, and every year, I am increasingly grateful to be surrounded by such motivated, smart, and caring staff and students. Together with parents and community members, we work hard to strengthen Bromwell’s reputation as a unique, rigorous, and truly magical learning environment.

What makes Bromwell unique…where do I start?

Bromwell ranks as one of Denver’s 12 “Distinguished” elementary schools. Way to go students and teachers!

We have a fabulous program for children with physical challenges.

Our PTA is extremely active, holding successful fundraising and “fun-raising” events throughout the school year.

A whopping 89% of our families gave to Bromwell’s Annual Fund.

Students can choose from dozens of after-school enrichments…everything from flag football to hip-hop dance to Science Matters.

We combine music, dance, and visual arts classes for a robust arts program.

We strive to keep a low teacher-to-student ratio through the addition of para-professionals in our classrooms.

The “world” is in all of our teachers’ and students’ hands. Interactive white boards are in every classroom.

These are just several of the many reasons I am proud to be part of Bromwell. The best way to learn more about us is to click around our website. If you are considering becoming part of Bromwell, please don’t hesitate to call our main office with questions or to set up a tour.

Sincerely,

Jody Cohn
