Fifth Grade

Bromwell’s fifth grade teachers are Kristin Halt and Stacey Ray.


5th Grade Continuation is Thursday, June 1st

As part of the celebration, a 5th-Grade memory book will be presented to each student. Every book includes a page created by each 5th-grader as well as a range of other moments, photos, and memories and congratulatory letters from teachers.

Any additional donation will go to cover expenses such as memory books for Zach, Kristin, and Stacey, teacher thank yous, costs of the celebration in the park, decorations, etc. Thank you for your thoughtful generosity as we celebrate the “Continuation” of our children and send them off to over 15 different middle schools.

Kristin Halt

haltKristin holds a Master’s in Elementary Education, and is additionally certified as a Gifted and Talented Teacher and English Language Acquisition Teacher. She has taught 4th and 5th grades for the past 7 years at DPS Marrama Elementary. Her undergraduate degree is from DU, where she also received a Division I scholarship for volleyball. In addition to her classroom experience, Kristin has also taught GT and Math Intervention, served as a coach for Girls on the Run, and facilitated student participation in student council, Young AmeriTowne, and other programs. She comes to us with the recommendation of her former student teacher ~ Steve Replogle! We are very fortunate to welcome her back to Bromwell.


Stacey Ray

rayStacey completed her undergraduate degree at Miami of Ohio, and obtained her Master’s in Education from DU in 2009. She has taught 5th grade for 6 years at Montview Math and Health Sciences Elementary (Colorado Department of Education Center of Excellence). Stacey did part of her student teaching at Bromwell in 4th grade and is excited to be back in our community! She focuses her professional development on implementing best practices in instruction, using varied teaching strategies to increase both academic and social growth and integrating technology in the classroom. Please be sure to welcome her to our new campus in August.
