Physical Education

Physical Education class strives to create an atmosphere of fun and physical activity. While acquiring skills necessary to do a variety of activities, students learn how important exercise is for a healthy lifestyle. If children love to exercise, they will exercise the rest of their lives. Bromwell is not trying to develop world-class athletes, but rather, healthy and productive world-class citizens.

At Bromwell, children alternate between P.E. and Dance Monday though Thursday for 25 minutes, and on Fridays we combine the classes. The National Board of Health recommends 60 minutes a day of exercise. Between P.E., Dance, and recess, Bromwell students have ample opportunity to be physically active, so they can excel in the classroom.
