Kristina joins us with degrees in Human Development and Early Childhood Education. She has classroom experience in both Denver and Greenwood Village, and did her student teaching at High Plains Elementary in Cherry Creek with an emphasis on science curriculum and also at Slavens. Her training and experience also includes the Denver Writing Project, Technology Development with iPads, and extensive volunteer work in both Colorado and Arizona.
I have been teaching since 1993.
I love watching children learn and grow. Being an integral part of the learning process is an incredible experience!
I received my BS degrees in Elementary Education and Special Education from Black Hills State University in Spearfish, South Dakota. I received my MA degree in Educational Leadership from Marshall University in Huntington, West Virginia
I grew up in the small town of Lead in the Black Hills of South Dakota.

Biggest risk you’ve taken?
The biggest risk I ever took was packing up my car after I graduated from college and moving by myself to New Mexico, to teach Kindergarten and pre-school on the Laguna/Acoma Indian Reservation. That’s the best decision I ever made, because that is also where I met my husband!
Favorite flavor ice cream?
Chocolate, chocolate, chocolate!
