Our Physical Education Program

daygym:

Our physical education program is taught by John Gregorio,
known to the kids as Mr. G, a long-time Bromwell teacher
and a well-known high school track coach. Ms. Cohn, our
principal, has this to say about Mr. G: "Mr. Gregorio is a
dedicated member of the Bromwell faculty and community. His
physical education classes consistently encourage and support
students of varied abilities, and he is able to bring a balance of
competition, cooperation, and fun to every class. He is a credit to
the development of our students."

Having fun and enjoying a healthy, fit lifestyle are the
goals of Bromwell's physical education program.
Cooperation is one of the skills that is emphasized
throughout the physical education curriculum.
Responsibility for one's self and for putting forth
a good effort is a focus each day in gym class. Physical
education is viewed as an integral part of the total
education of each child. The classroom curriculum,
literacy, and math skills are integrated into
the physical activity for the day.
