🎨 Specials Spotlight - Art 🎨
It’s hard to believe we’re wrapping up the school year in the Art Room—it’s been a truly spectacular one! A heartfelt thank you to all the volunteers, both in and out of the studio, who helped make it so joyful. And a special shoutout to the parents and caregivers who check in with their Bears about their art experiences—those conversations make a real difference in nurturing creativity and connection.
This month, our students are putting the finishing touches on work you’ll get to see at the Spring Art Show on May 13, 3:30–4:30 PM. ECE students created imaginative “mini builds” using collage; Kindergarten explored the world of bugs; 1st grade brought chameleons to life; and 2nd grade combined color and line in stunning abstract pieces. Our older Bears have an incredible range of work to share—from paintings and portraits to perspective drawings and engravings.
We can’t wait to show it all off—see you at the show!

🐻 PTA CORNER - Appreciation Shoutouts 🐻
The PTA is sending a BIG thank you to two incredible staff members who go above and beyond for our Bromwell community 💙🧡
✨ Ms. Rimkus — From leading Student Council to serving on the CSC and representing staff on the PTA nomination committee, Ms. Rimkus is a true leader in our school. Most recently, she’s been helping revitalize the garden and thoughtfully bringing it into the classroom for our older Bears 🌱
🎨 Ms. M — A creative force behind so much of what makes Bromwell special! Ms. M was integral in bringing the Art Party to life (and already planning for next year 🙌), has welcomed artists into the classroom to collaborate with students, and is leading an exciting project with CCNA for the Colorado 150 anniversary. She’s also helping connect families to student learning by inviting parents into the classroom—and recently supported our young artists in sharing their work at a Denver Museum of Art art show 🖼️
We are so grateful for the passion, creativity, and time these educators pour into our school—thank you for all you do! 💫

Student Unenrollment Guidelines
As the school year comes to a close, this is a reminder that if you are unenrolling your student from Bromwell for next year, please follow the guidelines below:
Notify the Front Office via phone (720)424-9330, in person, or email to bromwell_elementary@dpsk12.net with the student’s last day of school and where the student will be attending their new school.
Notify the student’s teacher.
