Dear Bromwell Families,
I hope you are all enjoying a wonderful, restful summer! As we count down the days to the start of the school year, my heart is filled with excitement, joy, and gratitude to return to the Bromwell community, this time, serving as your proud principal.
As a mom navigating the kindergarten transition myself this year with my oldest daughter, I am experiencing the back-to-school season through a brand-new lens. I know firsthand how much anticipation goes into these next few weeks. We are here to walk alongside you.
Our mission is to achieve excellence for ALL students by intentionally meeting both their Academic and Social-Emotional needs. As we look ahead to this school year, this mission serves as our North Star. This guides every decision we make, ensuring that every Bear is supported, challenged, and set up for success.
I deeply believe that when schools and communities work together with shared purpose and open communication, our students thrive. To ensure you always feel connected and well informed.
Here is what you can expect from us moving forward:
The Bromwell Bulletin (Weekly): weekly go-to source for upcoming events, school information, and calendar updates.
The Principal Post (Monthly): This very newsletter! Once a month, I will reach out directly to share a deeper look into our school culture and performance data, celebrate bright spots, and give you a window into the joyful teaching and learning happening across Bromwell.
The State of the Den (Quarterly): Three times a year (Fall, Winter, Spring), we will look closely at our school-wide data. This update will be grounded in academic growth, attendance trends, and the strategic steps we are taking to ensure every Bear is appropriately challenged and supported.
Our teachers and staff members will return on August 17th to prepare for the upcoming school year and plan for our Bears' return. Over the course of the week, teachers will also create and finalize class lists, after which families will be notified. Thank you for your patience as we work collaboratively to ensure we create balanced classes.
We are excited to welcome some new team members to Bromwell
