PE Skateboard Unit Update from Mr. Edwards

I am really excited to let you know that we are about to start our skateboarding unit. This is a really fun and engaging unit that the kids absolutely love. The unit will be during your students regular PE class during the weeks of  March 3rd (ECE and Ms. Huntley only ), March 10th or March 17th. All the equipment will be provided through DPS. If your child would like to bring a helmet or pads, that is fine (students must wear wrist, elbow, knee pads, and a helmet). However, students are not allowed to bring their own skateboard. Please send your child in good shoes. If you have any questions, please contact me.

Social Emotional Learning – SEL at Bromwell

This is Mr. Tay! This week, we’re continuing our important discussion on respect. Our focus is now on respecting others, which includes being mindful of their personal space, feelings, environment, materials, and ideas.

We recently watched “Monster Mojo,” where we learned valuable lessons about what respect looks like in our community. Mojo had a magical mirror that helped him reflect on how his words and actions affect his peers.

Below, you’ll find a link to the first of three videos related to our topic. As always, please feel free to reach out if you need anything else.

Thank you all for your support and participation!
