Volunteer at Bromwell

Be a part of your student’s learning experience by assisting in the classrooms or library, helping to organize fundraising and community building events. In the same way that our school would be a different place without the funds we raise, the same is true for the time and dedication of volunteers. Last year over 125 volunteers donated countless hours to Bromwell!

Where Can You Volunteer?

Lunch and Recess Helpers: Support school staff with supervising student lunches in the cafeteria or outside and recess on the playground. Even on cold days, the kids go outside to get their bodies moving!

Library: We need help with this for the entire school year. Our school library is 100% volunteer run by parents and caregivers! Help kids check out books during their classroom library times, as well as check in and shelve. No library experience required! You will be trained by our seasoned group of volunteers. We worked with teachers to provide a weekly schedule for classes.

Lost and Found Helpers: Help keep the lost and found organized. Check for names on items in case it was missed and can be returned to a student. Help provide pictures of Lost and Found to the PTA Board – VP Communications person so it can be sent to the school community. Help is needed throughout the school year.

Art Helpers: Provide additional help to our new graphic arts teacher, Ms. Merenius and her partnership with the Think360 music program. Both in school and at home options may be available. Help is needed throughout the school year. Please contact Ms. M at Lisa_Merenius@dpsk12.net
