Specials Spotlight – Art!

We hope you enjoyed viewing all the student artwork on display at the Multicultural Night! Now in Art: ECE, Kinder, and 1st have been exploring how to be Architects. 2nd grade is finishing their quilts inspired by artist Faith Ringgold, while 3rd grade is finishing up their acrylic paintings inspired by artist Alma Thomas. 4th grade is wrapping up their illustrations and poems in response to the DAM Wild Things exhibit, to be on display at the Ross Denver Public Library. The leaders of the pack, 5th grade are studying the art of the portrait. As always, family volunteers are welcome! Be sure to ask your bear when they have art and we’d love to share the creative experience with you too!

Social Emotional Learning – SEL at Bromwell

Hello everyone, as always Mr. Tay is here.  This week and last week we learned about how to show respect for others, how to show empathy for others, and finally what it means to walk in someone else’s shoes (figuratively not literally).  We watched a lot of Monster Mojo videos if you would like to see them or rewatch them with your bears, I’ll have the link for the first part down below.  It has been awesome hearing everyone take the information and digest it into something they can do in their day to day.  We also spoke about the little actions (showing kindness) we can do to change the world each day with Kid President.  I hope you all have an amazing bucket filling Spring Break!
