Sock it to Me!

What:  Bromwell Student Council is collecting NEW socks and NEW underwear for Clothes to Kids Denver!  Socks and underwear can be from kids to adult sizes because they serve PreK-12th grade students. Kids love colorful and fun socks but any socks will be greatly appreciated!  As the seasons are changing, they are looking for shorts of all kinds in sizes 4T to 18 youth. So “Clean out your closet for a cause”!

When: April 9th- 17th

Where: Drop off to the box in the lobby or your child’s classroom teacher

Why: Did you know Clothes to Kids serves over 100 DPS students a day!  They are in need of new socks and underwear to keep the store stocked for all of these students. Clothes to Kids Denver


We Have More Lost than Found!

Please have your child check Lost and Found, or stop by the office to take a look.

All items not picked up by April 18th will be donated to Clothes to Kids Denver.

April 7th – 24th – CMAS Testing: Our 3rd thru 5th graders have started CMAS testing.  During CMAS testing, we are unable to have volunteers in the building, other than lunch & recess support.

April 18th – No School: Teacher planning day, no school for students.

April 23rd – Staff Appreciation: Help give staff some of their favorite things!  You can sign up to donate HERE.

April 24th – Dine-Out at Smashburger: Order online, carryout or delivery and 20% comes back to Bromwell PTA!  Use code SBFUNDRAISE online or mention Bromwell on the phone or in-person.

Order Your 25/26 School Supplies

Today is the opening day of school supply sales with 1st Day School Supplies!  You can have supplies sent directly to the school so teachers have them ready for students in August.  You can order supplies HERE.


All students, regardless of immigration status, have a constitutionally protected right to access free public education. Public K-12 schools must teach all students free of charge, regardless of their immigration status or their parents’ status.

Weather Reminders

With the change in weather, please send you children with layers and rain jackets as needed.  As snow starts to come, please send snow boots and snow pants.  Please make sure to label your students gear so if it ends up in the Lost and Found, we can get it returned to the correct owner.  We want our Bears to enjoy outdoor recess as much as possible!


Please remember that any parent/guardian entering the building at any time must always go through the front doors of the school and check in at the office. 


  • Students cannot be dropped off at school until after 7:30am, and MUST be picked up no later than 2:50pm, unless you have signed up for Discovery Link.  
  • If you are late, you must park in the neighborhood and walk in with your child(ren).
  • Breakfast ends at 7:50am so the kitchen can prepare for lunch.  If you would like your Bear to take advantage of free breakfast, please drop them off prior to 7:50am.
