Specials Spotlight
Our most recent Physical Education unit focused on climbing and swinging skills using both the rock wall and the ropes. Your Bear has been working on strength, coordination, and confidence through activities like the sit-and-fall and the big swing. Older students may also share about learning the S-hook and the trust fall. This unit is always a big hit with our Bears, and they all did a fantastic job!
Art Helpers Needed!

Student Council Care Kit Drive
The Student Council is collecting supplies to assemble Care Kits for individuals experiencing homelessness in our community, and we’d love your help filling them with essential items.
How to donate:

Girls on the Run Returns – Coaches Needed!
Girls on the Run registration opens February 2nd at 9:00 AM! This empowering program builds confidence, teamwork, and a love of movement in a fun, supportive environment. Open to girls grades 3-5.
The season runs March 2–5 through May, with practices on Tuesdays & Wednesdays from 3:15–4:15 PM—the same schedule as school enrichments this year.
We need coaches to make this season happen!
No running experience required—just a positive attitude and a willingness to support our girls. Sign up to coach: HERE.

The season concludes with a celebratory Denver 5K on Saturday, May 16th—a meaningful and joyful finish for participants and families.

This year’s event will be fully chaperoned by Bromwell staff—so parents can enjoy a little time to themselves or gather for an optional parent happy hour in Cherry Creek North at SOL Cucina. The PTA will provide a few apps!

Wednesday, 2/25: Multicultural Night: Travel Around the World!
5-7pm | Bromwell
Bromwell will transform into an airport as families “travel” from stop to stop, enjoying live musical performances, hands-on activities, cultural displays, and fun for the whole family!
This event comes to life through family participation—and we’d love your help!
Families are invited to get involved by sharing a small dish, simple activity, craft, game, music, or tradition that’s meaningful to them. No pressure to feed the whole school—small bites and easy ideas are perfect, and U.S. traditions are encouraged!

Clothes to Kids Donations
If you’ve recently cleaned out your closet—or your child’s—consider donating to Clothes to Kids Denver (CTKD), a wonderful organization that serves approximately 100 DPS students each day. Any child in DPS schools who is in need can “shop” there and choose clothing for themselves.
CTKD accepts sizes from 4T through adult (yes, that includes adult sizes!), and Bromwell students have benefited from this organization in the past.
Donations can be left by the bin in the front lobby!
