School Choice, 2022-2023 School Year – Reminder, all students entering Kindergarten need to “choice in” to Bromwell; even if you are a boundary student, or currently enrolled in ECE.  Choice info can be found here: https://schoolchoice.dpsk12.org/schoolchoice/round-1/

2022-2023 Enrollment Verification – It’s time once again to complete an Enrollment Verification Form for Bromwell Elementary for the upcoming 2022-2023 school year.  Having verification of enrollment for each of our Bears serves as an important tool as we plan for enrollment for the next school year and assess how many choice seats we can offer.  If you are uncertain at this time, please indicate that information in the survey below and we will check in with you again at the end of the school year.  By notifying Bromwell that your Bear(s) will NOT be returning to school for the 22-23 SY, will not disenroll your Bromwell student from school, we will follow up with you in the spring to confirm.  Please complete your enrollment verification HERE by February 4th.

Sock it to me! Sock & Shoe Drive – Now through January 28th, Bromwell Student Council is sponsoring a sock and shoe drive.  We are in need of new socks, and new or gently used shoes for little kids to adults.  Clothes to Kids is an organization that is just down the street from us on S. Colorado.  They are set up like a store for DPS students to come and “shop” for clothes when they are in need, currently serving 100 DPS students everyday.  Currently, they are also opening their doors to students in K-12 grades who lost their homes in the Marshall Fire.

Cellphone/Smart Watch/Airpods Policy – Just a quick reminder as there have been many new phones, watches, and airpods at school following the holidays; cell phones must stay in student backpacks during the school day, and smart watches should only be used for telling time during the school day.  Students may access their cell phones at the end of the school day.  Staff can request at any time to store cell phones that are not in backpacks and if they are distracting other students.  Students are not to use smart watches to make calls or text, take pictures, or play games during the school day.  “School Mode” is appropriate if it’s an option!  Airpods should not be brought to school as they are too easily lost.  Please help us in ensuring our Bears stay focused on learning during school hours.  For additional info, please refer to the Bromwell Student Handbook.
