BEAR PAW AWARDS – For those who are new to Bromwell, you might be wondering what our Bear Paw awards are all about! More detailed information can be found in our Community Handbook; but briefly, our Bear Paw Awards celebrate students living our values! We couple our monthly awards with consistent messaging around expected behavior, where students can be “caught showing PAWS” every day! This effort helps establish and reinforce expectations in the classroom, cafeteria, in the halls, and on the playground. Have a chat with your Bear to help further support school expectations! HISPANIC HERITAGE MONTH – Starts today, September 15th. During morning announcements, we will be honoring historic figures with hispanic heritage to celebrate. DPS collectively celebrates the culture, contributions and influence of individuals who identify as Hispanic and Latinx from September 15 through October 15. Please find more information HERE. PTA MEETING RECAP – Thank you to all who attended our first PTA meeting of the year! We had a packed agenda and are ready to hit the ground running to support another amazing year at Bromwell. Meeting minutes are available to our entire community, and can be found HERE, and questions or concerns are welcome! As a reminder, anyone can join the PTA, and all members vote to approve our budget and board members; join HERE today! Finally, we are in need of lunch volunteers daily.
