Our school budget is based on the number of students we have enrolled. To help us plan the budget for 24/25 school year, please complete THIS Intent to Return form or through DPS School Choice by 2/1.
Basketball is coming back for the Spring, with some exciting changes!
– The league will now consist of a 2nd/3rd grade team(s), and 4th/5th grade team(s).
– We need coaches! The wonderful volunteers we had for the Fall season aren’t available for the Spring.
– All games will be on Thursdays, with practices determined by coaches.
– The following schools are participating this Spring: Smith, Teller, Dora Moore, Isabella Bird and Park Hill.

GIRLS ON THE RUN REGISTRATION COMING SOON!
Calling all 3rd – 5th grade girls! Join Girls on the Run this spring! Get ready to activate your star power as you run, walk, jump, hop, or skip your way through training for a 5K! Teams will complete activities to help them learn to be happy, healthy and confident before running a 5K at the end of the season. Girls on the Run will start the week of March 4th. We will meet every Tuesday and Thursday from 2:45-4:15pm for 10 weeks. Open to all 3rd, 4th and 5th grade girls. Registration opens February 5th at 9am. Cost is $195 with some scholarships available for those who qualify. For more information about the program go to www.girlsontherunrockies.org. Questions or want to coach? Thursday 2/8 – ECE – 2nd Grade Winter Concert: Come hear our little Bears sing their hearts out at Hill Middle School. Your homeroom teacher will provide additional details.
February 16th, 19th and 20th – No School: Teachers have planning and data dig days, and the school will be closed in observance of President’s Day
Thursday 2/22 – 2nd Annual 5th Grade Dance: Our 5th graders decided to bring back the Black and White Ball for a grade-level celebration!
Thursday 2/22 – State of the Den: Join Principal von Weise and the CSC virtually at 6:30pm. They will provide school wide updates and what to expect for 24/25 school year.
February 19th – 22nd – Dine Out Week at Cherry Cricket!: Cherry Cricket is doing a dine out for Bromwell all week with 15% of sales coming back to Bromwell. Spread the word and mention Bromwell when ordering.

Tomorrow is World Tutu Day! Who knew? If your Bear would like to celebrate, Bromwell Bear Biz Member, Cherry Creek Dance, has just the event for you, and they are giving proceeds back to Bromwell! Details in the flyer below.
Calling all awesome auction donation ideas!!! Got a connection to tickets, a vacation house, lessons with your favorite teacher or team, maybe even a double date with Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift?!?! Our auction committee could use your help to make sure the live and silent auctions are packed with must-have items. Please reach out to Imthiaz at auction@bromwellpta.org.

Date: 4/13/24, cost of $40-$50 per student for the evening from 5:30-10pm including pizza dinner and staffed by Discovery Link Staff.
