Social Emotional Learning – SEL at Bromwell
How’s it going everyone, Mr. Tay here! This week marks the conclusion of our discussions on respect during the morning announcements. We have been focusing on respect within our classrooms and for our school community. What does respect look like for us, and how can we show it to others? Simple actions, such as cleaning up after ourselves and demonstrating PAWS in the hallways, are ways we can show respect not only for each other but also for our tools and resources. Some of the responses we received about how it feels to be in a respectful community included feelings of safety, calmness, ease of learning, and a sense of family. Let’s continue to promote respect in our school environment! And as always let me know if you have any questions or concerns.

Weather Reminders
With the change in weather, please send you children with layers and rain jackets as needed. As snow starts to come, please send snow boots and snow pants. Please make sure to label your students gear so if it ends up in the Lost and Found, we can get it returned to the correct owner. We want our Bears to enjoy outdoor recess as much as possible!
Please remember that any parent/guardian entering the building at any time must always go through the front doors of the school and check in at the office.
