Bromwell Bulletin 04/03/25

Posted April 3, 2025

A big THANK YOU to the entire Bromwell community for showing up and supporting our students and teachers at this year’s Scholastic Book Fair.

  • You showed up to volunteer and live out your cash register dreams.
  • You contributed extra dollars to the Share-the-Fair Fund, so every child could bring home a book.
  • You sent your child with funds so they could independently shop for themselves and raise critical funds that go to our teachers in the form of books for their classroom.
  • We raised over $5K for our teachers and library!

We feel such gratitude for your support.  Thank you again Bromwell community & see you next year!!

A Note from Principal von Weise:

I would like to inform you that from April 7-11, I will be attending the Women and Power Executive Leadership program at Harvard Kennedy School in Boston. This program aims to enhance women’s leadership by providing participants with strategic tools, improving core leadership skills, and offering access to a global network of peers. I am excited about this opportunity to further develop my leadership abilities, and I truly appreciate your support during this time.

During my absence, Jane Shirley will be available to support Bromwell. Please feel free to reach out to Jane via email at Jane_Shirley@dpsk12.net. Or if you are in need of immediate assistance please contact the Bromwell Main Office at 720.424-4330.

In order to be fully present in the program, please expect a delay in my response to emails. I appreciate your patience and support as I focus on this valuable learning experience. I look forward to returning with new insights and skills that will benefit our Bromwell community.

Weather Reminders

With the change in weather, please send you children with layers and rain jackets as needed.  As snow starts to come, please send snow boots and snow pants.  Please make sure to label your students gear so if it ends up in the Lost and Found, we can get it returned to the correct owner.  We want our Bears to enjoy outdoor recess as much as possible!

Please remember that any parent/guardian entering the building at any time must always go through the front doors of the school and check in at the office.

  • Students cannot be dropped off at school until after 7:30am, and MUST be picked up no later than 2:50pm, unless you have signed up for Discovery Link.
  • If you are late, you must park in the neighborhood and walk in with your child(ren).
  • Breakfast ends at 7:50am so the kitchen can prepare for lunch.  If you would like your Bear to take advantage of free breakfast, please drop them off prior to 7:50am.
