The Colorado Rockies are hosting a fundraising opportunity for games on 9/5th-7th against San Diego Padres!  

As long as 50 tickets are purchased, we will get between $2 – $5 for each ticket purchased through THIS link.  You can find out more information HERE. Last year it helped raise over $300! Grab some Bear families and make a fun night out of it.

Both teachers from school and Discovery Link have a large variety of options.  You can click HERE to review and access the sign ups.

Please complete the You Benefit Application!

You Benefit! application helps families and your school. By applying, your child’s school can receive additional funding. In addition, your child’s school fees may be waived or reduced. These include athletic fees, ACT, SAT, course fees and activity and field trip fees tied to curriculum.

All families are still strongly encouraged to complete the You Benefit! application as the information determines critical funding for Bromwell and DPS, regardless of qualification.

Upcoming Events!

August 22nd, after school – Kona Ice Truck: The truck will be on the blacktop to help celebrate the end of the first week!

August 28th, 5-7pm – Back to School Night for 1st thru 5th ONLY: This is for parents/guardians only of 1st thru 5th grade families.  Presentations will also be sent out from teachers if you can’t make it.

Please note this is 1st – 5th grade only – no ECE or Kindergarten.  No childcare or supervision will be available for students

September 1st – Labor Day: NO SCHOOL

Volunteer Opportunities:

  • Room Parents Needed for the following homerooms:  Percival (K), Huntley (1st), Stevenson (1st), Martin (2nd), Shipman (2nd). The other home rooms would also love a second room parent to help out!  This is a simple yet important role. Please email communications@bromwellpta.org  with interest!

Announcements / Reminders:  

Tickets still available for Fall events – all proceeds go directly to Bromwell!   Email communications@bromwellpta.org for tickets.

  • Cocktails & Raptors:  Sept 13th – tickets still available!  Join friends new & old to toast the beginning of the school year with a fun backyard cocktail party and up close and personal encounters with majestic birds from the Raptor Education Foundation.  Hosted by the Hohl & Hollis families. $50 per ticket. 
  • The Man Party – “Hosted by Men, For Everyone”: October 4th – Tickets available for the 11th annual party held in a private pocket park in congress park! Cold beer, grilled meats & friendly competition!  3pm until…  Hosted by Nick Evans, Jarrett Winter, & Mike Raab. $100 per ticket.

Ongoing Reminders

School Hours: 8:15am – 3:15pm.  

Drop Off and Pick Up: We have three locations you can drop off and pick up, please review this map to help provide direction.  

  • Drop-Off: Drop-off can be done no earlier than 8:05am.  It can be done on foot/bike from the Alley Gate or Garden Gate, driving drop-offs can be done through the Kiss & Go lane until 8:15am.  
  • Pick-Up: Pick-up can be done on foot/bike from the Alley Gate or Garden Gate, driving pickups can be done through the Kiss & Go lane until 3:25pm.  Please let your teacher know if your child will be picked up from Kiss & Go.
  • Parking: No parking is allowed in the bus zone in the front of the school, or school parking lots (in the alley and the front of the school) as every spot is assigned to staff members.  Please do not park in our neighboring businesses as they are all private lots and they will tow.
  • Discovery Link: If you are utilizing before or after school care, you can drop-off and pick-up from the blue door just west of the school’s main entrance. You can find more information on Discovery Link HERE. The brochure with Enrichment options will be available soon.

Other Important Information:

  • Bromwell has 4 additional days of no school for Data Dig Days that are in addition to the DPS calendar, here is the 2025-2026 Bromwell Calendar
  • Free breakfast is available from 8:05-8:15am.  The cafeteria will close promptly at 8:15am so the cafeteria staff can start prepping lunch. Students can enter from the cafeteria door on the blacktop.
  • Please send your child with a full water bottle every day and a snack every day to help keep their bodies energized and mind fueled to learn. 
  • You can send your child home with a home lunch each day, or students may have FREE school lunch.  You can view menu options HERE and also from the SchoolCafe Website.
  • Homeroom assignments will be available at the end of day on August 13th.  You will receive additional information from teachers directly on what you can expect and look forward to.
  • You can review school supplies for all grades HERE.
