It’s hard to believe the next time you get a Bromwell Bulletin, it will be 2024! We hope everyone has a wonderful Winter Break. We cannot wait to have all our Bears back in the building on Wednesday, January 3rd.
The Bromwell Girls on the Run team is in need of volunteer coaches!
You do not need to be a runner. Help empower 3rd-5th grade girls and inspire them to honor their voices, embrace their gifts and celebrate their strengths. The more coaches we have, the more girls that can participate in this amazing program! Please click HERE for more information.
ECE – 2nd grades are bringing back their Winter Wonderland Concert on Wednesday 1/31 from 5:30-7pm
It will be held at the Hill Middle School auditorium to help allow enough space for all families to attend. More details will be shared by the teachers after Winter Break. We are excited to bring back this tradition after a COVID hiatus!
Last day to check Lost and Found is tomorrow! We have so many items we’re running out of room. If you’d like to check for your kid, you can come in the front and check in with the office, or tell you kid to search as they walk down to the cafeteria.
*Items not picked up by tomorrow, December 15th at 3pm will be donated*
We received some updates about applying for ECE-4 for the 24-25 school year
The enrollment lottery for ECE-4 families will return to be a part of the DPS SchoolChoice process for our upcoming enrollment cycle starting Jan. 11, 2024. Families will first need to participate in SchoolChoice to match with their preferred DPS school for the 2024-25 school year, then the UPK application will need to be completed by families after Round 1. We will continue to update you as we receive guidance from DPS and UPK.
Thank you to all of our families who joined us for our PTA meeting last Tuesday. We are excited to share that PTA has agreed to fund a music teacher position (2 days/week) for the rest of the 23-24 school year in response to an ask by Principal von Weise and our CSC.. WE NEED YOUR HELP TO GET THE WORD OUT to find an amazing candidate to welcome to our community. And here’s the job posting to share!
