Looking for something to do during your lunch break? Come volunteer during our lunch/recess times! When you arrive, check in at the front office, grab an orange vest, and then make the rounds in the lunchroom to help kids open things, stay focused on eating (save the sillies for outside!). Outside, you might get asked to push a kid on a swing, referee a game, or have an existential conversation. Here are the times:
ECE & Kinder: 10:45 – 11:35
First & Second: 11:10 – 11:55
Fourth: 11:30 – 12:15
Third & Fifth: 11:40 – 12:35
Social Emotional Learning – SEL at Bromwell
Hey everyone, Mr. Tay here! This week we have been going over Wizard Brain (upstairs brain, problem-solving, Green Zone, expected behaviors) and Lizard Brain (downstairs brain, can’t problem-solve, Red Zone, unexpected behaviors) and how that affects our behaviors and how our peers feel about us. We have also been going over what Expected behaviors (predictable, the norm, what should be happening in any given moment) vs. Unexpected behaviors (unpredictable, unusual, not what should be happening at that given moment) are for our school community. Finally, we touched on the Size of the Problem and on making sure that our reactions were/are appropriate based on the sizes (small, medium, and big). Upcoming Events!
TONIGHT! 5-7pm – Back to School Night: For parents/guardians of 1st thru 5th grade families. You can enter through the front of the building starting at 4:50pm. Two sessions are available at 5pm and again 5:45pm. Presentations will also be sent out from teachers if you can’t make it.
**Please note this is 1st – 5th grade only – no ECE or Kindergarten. No childcare or supervision will be available for students**
September 5th, 4pm – CSC Meeting: The meeting will be both in the school and virtual
September 8th – Campus Clean Up! 10am-1pm: Please come help us as we clean up the grounds, weed the garden, sweep up rocks… help Bromwell shine and give the Bears pride in their school!
Coffee and pastries will be generously donated by 3rd Avenue Starbucks.
September 11th, 8am – Monthly PTA Meeting: Join us in person in the cafeteria or virtually via Google Meets
September 13th, 7:15-7:40am – Donuts with Grown Ups: Our PTA is hosting this community event to help kick off our Fall fundraising campaign, Let’s Build Bromwell! Join us to connect with other families and learn more about how the PTA gives back to the school.

The 24/25 school year is off to a fabulous start thanks to our amazing staff of 42 this school year! Let’s show staff how much we appreciate the hard work they have put in these first few weeks of school by providing a delicious breakfast spread. Family Photo Session Fundraiser in Little Cheesman 9/20 (4-6pm) & 9/21 (8:30-11:30am)!
Doug Wells Photography is supporting Bromwell by offering 15 minute mini sessions, and the $50 sitting fee comes directly back to Bromwell! You can then purchase prints or access to the whole gallery through Doug Wells. You can sign up and pay HERE.
The Colorado Rockies are hosting a fundraising opportunity for games on 9/12-14!
