Bio: I was born and raised in the small town of Odebolt in northwest Iowa. I received my bachelor’s degree in Fashion Merchandising & Design from Iowa State University and Masters in Special Education from the University of Northern Colorado. I worked in fashion for nine years before deciding on a career change into education. I have taught English in Florence, Italy and online for students in Beijing for EF Kids as well as at Colorado I Have a Dream Foundation and Project Worthmore. I worked as a Special Education Paraprofessional at Bromwell for three years and am excited to be entering my second year as the Special Education teacher!
Hobbies: I love to travel! Traveling is a major obsession of mine! I also love to explore in the mountains and hike. I enjoy shopping, working out, spending time with friends, cooking with my partner, and cuddling with our dog, Opie, and cat, Olive.
