• Living our Values! I am focusing on two values this year: the values of compassion and being All In! It is important to tell others (staff, students, family and friends) that you care as well as to show them that you care. Caring goes a long way! I am also All in this year with moving to the new position of Special Education teacher at Bromwell after working as a special education paraprofessional the last three years. 
• Bio: I was born and raised in the small town of Odebolt in northwest Iowa. I received my bachelor’s degree in Fashion Merchandising & Design from Iowa State University and worked in fashion for nine years. I moved to Denver in 2015. Four years ago I decided on a career change into the teaching world. I have taught English in Florence, Italy and online for EF Kids as well as at Colorado I Have a Dream Foundation and Project Worthmore. I am currently finishing my Masters in Special Education from the University of Northern Colorado. The last three years I have been working as a Special Education Paraprofessional and Health Tech at Bromwell and am excited to be taking on the role of Special Education teacher this year! 
• Hobbies: I love to travel! Traveling is a major obsession of mine! I also love to to go to the mountains to hike and paddle board. I enjoy spending time with my boyfriend, Elliott, our dog, Opie and our cat, Olive. Working out, shopping, cooking Italian food, and Facetiming with my family are hobbies of mine!
