This year I am focusing on the value of joy! I hope our classroom will be a place where my students find happiness and develop a lifelong love of learning.

I am a proud Colorado native and DPS graduate! Go South High Ravens! After I graduated from Colorado State University I jumped right into teaching. Over the years I have taught PE, 2nd grade, 3rd grade, a 4/5 split, and 5th grade. I took some time off from teaching to be home with my kids who all attended Bromwell. My oldest two are at East and my youngest is at Morey. It feels like only yesterday I was dropping them off with Ms. Ford for kindergarten.

I love to spend my days with my family! We enjoy camping and exploring the outdoors in the summer and skiing in the winter. I also find myself spending a lot of time on the sidelines of the lacrosse fields cheering on my boys. If I have a spare minute I love to travel, read, hang out with the dogs, and cheer on the Broncos, CSU Rams, Nuggets, and Avs!
