Hello Bromwell Community! I am so excited to be apart of the incredible work that is happening at our school this year. During my first year at Bromwell I focused on curiosity as I had much to learn from the incredible staff that have called Bromwell home for years. This year I want to bring JOY to all my interactions with students, staff and families.
A little about me: I was born and raised right outside San Diego and after high school I played Division 1 Water Polo at San Diego State for two years before moving to Arizona to finish my teaching degree. I taught in Phoenix for 2 years and then relocated to Denver in 2014 and I have called this beautiful state home since then! I have spent the last 8 years working in DPS- 6 years at Munroe Elementary teaching 5th grade, and I am now in my 2nd year here at Bromwell as a Senior Team Lead. In July 2021, I completed my masters in Educational Leadership through University of Colorado, Denver and am proud to bring what I learned through my program here to the school!
For hobbies I enjoy being outside, traveling, reading, riding my peloton, spending frivolously on Amazon and then regretting it, and seeing friends and family!
My support team means the wold to me. Teddy, my dog, Tyler, my boyfriend, John and Tammy, my two incredible and supportive parents – both finally retired and living the good life, Regan, my older sister and a neonatal DNP in Phoenix, and Kevin, my younger brother who plays professional baseball currently playing for the Cincinnati Reds. Both of my siblings have amazing families and being the best aunt possible to my nieces and nephews is the most important role that I have.
