• Living our Values!  This year I am focusing on being compassionate! I know that when I am embracing other people’s differences, striving to understand others rather than be understood by others, and showing care and concern, I am at my best.  
• Bio: I was born and raised in Colorado, and I can’t imagine calling any other place home. After going to college for degrees in Biology and Environmental Science, I taught middle school and high school mathematics and sciences for 8 years. I made a slight career change by returning to school for a degree in school child, family, and psychology. In this role, I have worked in DPS middle schools and high schools, but in 2018 made the change to work with elementary school-age students and settled into my new community of Bromwell, where I now find joy in my work every day.  
• Hobbies: Many of my hobbies previously revolved around spending time with my daughter. Now that she has taken flight from the nest, I have to entertain myself by reading, crossword puzzling, trail running, ski mountaineering, climbing, gravel biking, and spending time with family and friends.
