• • This year I am focusing on the value of joy!  I hope to create an environment where students  find happiness and develop a lifelong love of moving. 
  • I grew up in Arizona and while I am “ok” with the all the CO sports teams I will always root for my AZ teams. I moved out to Colorado 13 years ago after graduation from Northern Arizona University. I got my first job teaching  in DPS 13 years ago. I taught 4th grade math, however, after talking to the P.E. teacher I switched to teaching PE. My wife Lauren and I have three energetic, fun loving boys, Stephen (11), Opio (8), and Odongo (8). 
  • I love getting outside and being active. In the winter I try to get up to the mountains to snowboard or just take my kids to the hill for some sledding. If there is no snow you can usually find me and my family with some type of ball or on our bikes.
