• I want to celebrate and nurture the imaginative spirit in our Bromwell Community. Children naturally seek out adventure, magic, and playfulness. Too often, this creative spirit gets lost in academics. Nurturing imagination in our students will help cultivate their curiosity, engagement,  and creative problem solving. This year, I hope to model imagination by venturing out and taking on new experiences to get back in touch with my creative self.
• I am originally from Texas, hence my accent at times. Twenty years ago, my husband and I followed our hearts by packing up and moving to Denver. I have always loved working with children and have been teaching for about 23 years. During these past few years, I’ve been able to work with many different grade levels in the classroom, small group teacher, and gifted and talented advisor. I am delighted to be a part of our wonderful third grade team this year. 
• When I’m not at school, you will find me at home enjoying laughs with my husband, Bryan, and our daughters, Finley and June (ages 13 and 11). A perfect day for me would include enjoying nature, a delicious Mexican food meal, and snuggling with our two dogs and three cats on the couch enjoying a movie or reading a good book. When out of school, I love to travel, experience new places, and meet new people.
