• Living our Values!  This year, I’m focusing on the core value of joy. I believe it’s essential to spend more time appreciating what we have, rather than dwelling on what we lack. My goal is to help our students recognize the good in every situation and to cultivate a mindset of gratitude and joy in their daily lives.
• Bio: I am a Colorado native! I grew up in Colorado Springs and earned my undergraduate degree, in Business, from Colorado State University. I later went back to school for teaching and completed my master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction at the University of Colorado Denver.  This will be my 15th year teaching at Bromwell and my 19th year in education overall. I’m a proud mom to two wonderful kids—Payton, who is in 6th grade, and Weston, who is in 3rd grade. 
• Hobbies: My wonderful children and their sports schedules keep me pretty busy,  but in my free time I enjoy reading, connecting with friends, and spending as much time outdoors as I can playing tennis, riding my bike, and camping.
